Sadly, I don't have any screenshots of this rather epic battle, as any of you who may have tried this quest would know it's very hard to get some.
Kilroy Stonekin seems like a rather nice, normal, well-mannered dwarf when you first meet him. His family was killed, and he wants you to help track down the people who killed them. Fair enough, it's the kind of thing you are born to do.
On the way to the Furnace, he's rather complacent, very rarely attacking unless provoked. Then you get into the furnace... and he is.. different, to say the least.
The first clue comes when he sees a lone Summit walking through the tunnel. What does he do?
Well, he goes completely loco, hacks the dwarf up then charges head first into the Furnace itself. He stops short of running into a group of heavily armoured Summit, and does something you really, really want to slap him for.
He leads them straight back to you. So, before the area has even loaded up properly (this is a cinematic in which he does this) you have a large group of Summit bearing down on you and him shouting to show them hell.
You kill them, then he screams: 'KILROOOOOOOOOOOOY SOOOOOOOOOOONEKIN!' and runs into the Furnace once more, killing everything he can find and demanding you keep up. This isn't really easy as he does run at quite a fast speed, and jumps singlehandedly into battle with large groups of enemies before the rest of the party has arrived. Thankfully, unlike most npcs, he is a very adequate fighter, being able to take on several warriors at once and lay the smackdown on them.
This continues for a while, until you finally find the person who killed his family. The room has loads of warriors, crushers (Those large mechanical ones), priests of sorrow, dark binders, dredges and far much more. And what does he do? Head straight to the boss. This is one epic battle, as you are literally surrounded before you get a chance to do anything.
I admit during this part I ended up saying "Wtf dude?!" into the team chat, forgetting for a moment that he was an NPC. This guy is the proverbial rusher made flesh, and he won't take no for an answer.
Good luck with this guy, you probably will need it.
